Carol, I don’t think we have ever met but I was Greg’s first Supply Officer on the USS Bradley FF1041 in San Diego in the early ’80s. I saw Greg rapidly change from a young green Ensign to a mature, physically fit Naval Officer earning the opportunity to “Fleet Up” to Supply Officer during an era when that option had been discontiued. He was a gentleman, a great American and a superb and very proud Naval Officer. I enjoyed my time working with him. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and I want you to know that you are in my and my wife Nancy’s thoughts and prayers.
