Does a local Foundation Chapter interest you?
The Navy Supply Corps Foundation has 38 Chapters around the globe, serving active duty, reserve, retired and former Supply officers and their families. Chapters are created if the population and the interest of Supply officers in a particular area is great enough to support regular engagement.
Several members are interested in starting or reopening a Chapter and would like to gauge the interest of members in the geographical area to determine if it is feasible. Please see the New Chapter Opportunities below and directly reach out to the POC to share your interest or for more information.

Our Community Values and Traditions Program (CV&T)
The CV&T Program is a sub-program of our Chapters Program. The specific purpose of the CV&T program is to support new and/or different activities by local Chapters, to build stronger relationships between all elements of the Supply Corps Community, including active, reserve, retired and former officers, as well as families and friends.
The community gatherings may be in the form of picnics or similar-type get-togethers that include members, spouses, significant others, children and friends of the local Chapter. The idea is to recognize and support the entire Supply Corps Community in each respective area. This is not a program to support Birthday Balls and like events.

To apply for a funding from the CV&T Program, the Chapter president should e-mail to foundation@usnscf.com providing the following information:
- a description of the function
- where it will be held
- an estimate of number of participants by category, i.e., members, spouses, significant others, children and friends
- an estimate of the cost
- the portion of the cost requested from the Foundation
When publicizing an approved CV&T event, we ask that the Chapter credit the Foundation’s support of this event in all communications materials by noting, “This event is made possible by funding from the Navy Supply Corps Foundation Community Values and Traditions Program.” In addition, we ask that the Chapter share photos, cut lines and a short article for use on the Foundation’s website and in The Oakleaf. This information should be sent to communications@usnscf.com. We want to highlight the goodness of these community gatherings.
The Foundation looks forward with pleasure to providing this annual monetary support to enhance local esprit de corps and Chapter enrichment events throughout the Supply Corps Community.

Standardized Documents and Instructions for Chapters
Starting and running a Navy Supply Corps Foundation Chapter (NSCF) is a teamwork undertaking. It can be demanding yet rewarding for those who volunteer for the task. To make the task easier and more manageable for Chapter Presidents and their team, we have put together template presentations and documents to take care of some of the “heavy lifting”.
The Navy Supply Corps Foundation is proud of its respectable and professional image to the public. Likewise, it is important from one Chapter to the next that there is a consistent “look and feel” to the presentations, displays, etc. NSCF provides the template documents below, so each Chapter has a uniform administrative set of tools at their fingertips. By using the templates as a basis, each Chapter can exercise their creativity in populating the template with unique content representative of their individualized social culture.
The Documents
The Foundation Style Guide specifies the approved use of NSCF logos, including proper meaning, symbolism, colors and dimensions. It includes descriptions of specific prohibitions regarding modifications and/or adjustments to the logo.
The Foundation’s Chapter Operations Guide governs the organization and day-to-day business processes of each NSCF Chapter. It includes Chapter financials, reporting, meetings, events, and more.
The Suggested Model Bylaws for Chartered, Affiliated Chapters document provides specific articles for Chapter administration and executive functions.
The Chapter Brief Template is a Microsoft® PowerPoint® layout to be used for slide presentations. It provides a general standardized layout for content with an appropriate, uniform header and footer format.
The Foundation Presentation is an overview of the Navy Supply Corps Foundation, its mission, its programs and its services. It provides a broad brushstroke of the history, heritage, and civic involvement unique to the Supply Corps community.
The Transition Program Brief overviews the Navy Supply Corps Foundation then focuses on Supply Corps members who are leaving the Navy, whether retiring or separating. It can be used within Chapters to help members prepare for civilian life.
The NSCF Financials Template is used by each Chapter to provide an annual financial statement to the Foundation. It is a straightforward spreadsheet in Microsoft® Excel® .XLS format with spreadsheet pages for Chapter data, balance sheet, revenue, expenses, and checking account information.
The Checklist for Web Administrators Turnover is available to help Chapter Web Admins make a seamless handoff in maintaining the continuity of website management.
