HERITAGE EXHIBIT ABOARD
USS MIDWAY (CV-41)

The Supply Corps Foundation’s Heritage Display aboard USS MIDWAY (CV-41) portrays the busy environment aboard an aircraft carrier.  An aircraft carrier is a floating city.  The many roles of the Supply Department comprise the typical services you would expect to find in any town, including dining, banking, drycleaning, shopping, post office, barber shop, and even entertainment.  In addition to providing such services to the crew, the Supply Department must fulfill hotel services and warehousing services.  An aircraft carrier’s Supply Department is one of the most demanding at-sea operations in the Navy.

SUPPORT A SUPPLY CORPS EXHBIT
AT USS MIDWAY AT NAVY PIER

Support the Foundation’s Commitment to a Supply Corps Exhibit at the USS Midway’s Freedom Park at Navy Pier. For nearly 100 years, Navy Pier has anchored San Diego’s waterfront—from its origins as the Naval Supply Corps headquarters, to the final resting place of the USS Midway.  The Navy Supply Corps Foundation has committed to donate toward this display and receive a “Naming Opportunity” for its donation.  The Naming Opportunity will include identification of NSCF as the donor, its mission and web site information. We invite you to donate to this NSCF commitment.
